Sooooo behind...
Okay, I'm finishing up with the Husky football game...I'm sooooo behind in our posts, so I'm going to try and catch up with all pictures this week to get caught up!
New year's resolution - stay updated on our posting!!!!!
Before the game, Duke's cousin Cory stopped by with his kids (and chihuahua) so that Gannon could have some company while we were gone to the game.
Gannon loved that dog! We took him to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua the following week...
Then the kids went out to Uncle Larry's garage and sat in a wheelbarrow that he made himself! They loved it!
And of course, they all had to feed the fish - this time Gannon didn't pee in the pond...
Everyone loves TALL Uncle Duke...
Gannon pilfering Aunt Betty's tomato plant...
Yes, Gannon ate every single ripe tomato off the plant - and I was all ready for the Husky game! First one for me this season (and the last)...
Can't recall what Duke was doing, but this is Uncle Larry & Aunt Betty's beautiful back yard!
Okay, now I remember, they were trying to get Moxie's ball from the squirrel house...
Gannon bonding with his 2nd cousin...so cute! And yes, that is the dog bed they are sleeping on...
Tom, Uncle Larry's neighbor who offered to drive us to the game - he had PRIME parking!
Karyn, my wonderful Husky soulmate and me!
We love our Huskies - even though they SUCKED this year!
I think it was the Battle of the Marching Bands...
OMG, what a double-chin I have...luckily I've lost some more of that steroid weight...
Still a proud Husky!
The game sucked, can you tell we were bored???
Ah, the memories are RUSHING back - what a crappy game...so depressing...
When we got home that night, Gannon had actually gone to bed when Aunt Betty told him to! We were shocked...
Next morning, both Cory & Jamie came over for breakfast - with the pup...
Then Halloween...see how late I am????
Making cookies...
THAT thing he is holding is some kind of insect that Gannon eventually killed while trying to "pet" it...UGH...the one thing I will need to get used to, having the fortune to have a son...BUGS! Yuk...
So I actually harvested some yellow squash and a pumpkin in our backyard believe it or not! We weren't sure what you do with yellow squash, so I went out and bought these Mr. Potato head-like pieces that you just push into the pumpkin, or in our case, the squash without having to carve anything. GENIUS! So Gannon decorated all the squash...and the little pumpkin...
Then we joined our friend, Sheri, Aric and their baby Brayden at the local "famous" pumpkin patch to get an actual real sized pumpkin...
Since it had rained so much, we didn't really make it through the corn maze as it was too muddy and fortunately, Duke had the sense of direction to retrace our steps back OUT of the maze - we were not enjoying ourselves in that mud...
Okay, more pictures soon...need to upload them!
Happy belated NEW Year to everyone! Here's hoping to a more peaceful and healthy one!
